Policy Notes
Salaried employees, including those at Toyota Financial Services, are required to work onsite Monday through Thursday. Remote work is optional on Fridays, contingent on business needs. The policy applies to all job levels, as well as temporary and contingent staff, and even those who have relocated away from company locations. The policy will not be enforced during four weeklong periods each year, including the weeks around Independence Day and Labor Day. Non-compliance with the new policy could result in termination of employment. The change is intended to foster a more in-person work environment to enhance efficiency, collaboration, mentoring, and growth opportunities, ultimately strengthening the company's culture and team effectiveness. Policy evolution from telecommuting program (2016) to broader remote work model (2021) to current 4-day RTO mandate (2025).
